In just one year, a lot can change in your life. Perhaps you bought a new car or house, changed careers or retired, got married, or had a child or a grandchild come into your life.  We don’t always think about our insurance needs during these exciting times, but failure to make updates to your policies when your life situation changes can lead to gaps in coverage. That’s why we recommend an annual insurance review.  Once a year, let’s spend a few moments together to make sure you have the correct coverages in place for you and your family. You do not want to keep coverages that you no longer need, and you especially do not want to be unaware that you’re not covered enough! Life changes and insurance changes go hand-in-hand.

As technology becomes more sophisticated and increasingly integrated into both our personal and professional lives, the risks that sensitive data could be compromised continue to rise.  Businesses of all sizes face cyber risk and need to manage and mitigate risk both before and after a breach. The financial impact of a cyber-attack can be devastating to any business and includes data loss, employee downtime, and the cost of restoring operations. Theft of personal data, such as Social Security numbers and bank and credit card information, can have significant financial consequences for individuals. All our various devices, including computers, phones, and gaming devices, are susceptible to a cyber-attack that could be used to run up fraudulent charges, steal your identity, and block access to your personal information.  There are many things you can do to protect yourself online, like creating strong passwords and using antivirus solutions, malware, and firewalls to block threats.  Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that your business will be safe or that your personal information will not be shared or hacked At SLIA, we understand the complexity of cyber threats as they relate to your business and your personal life.

Give us a call and we can schedule some time to talk.  We look forward to answering your questions and putting the proper protections in place to safeguard you, your family, and your business.

With our best wishes for a happy, healthy & prosperous New Year!  🍾 🥂
